PHP Freelancing
The majority of the work that I do is for other web design companies. If a web development company feels as if a certain project needs some custom PHP programming work done on it, they’ll send me an outline of how their client wants the system to work and I’ll send them back a quote. Usually, the company in question will then work on the look/design of the website while I program the PHP/MySQL system behind it. Once the front-end design and the back-end system are both ready to be deployed, I integrate my code into the design. The web company then pays me, passing my cost onto the client. In the end, the client gets what he or she wants, the web company gets to present the site as their own work and I never publicise my influence on the project.
Some of the PHP/MySQL systems that I’ve built:
- Regular content management systems (CMS) that allow the owner to login to a secure control panel and change the content on his or her website without needing any knowledge about web development.
- Custom online shops and shopping carts – complete with PayPal checkouts and Instant Payment Notification systems.
- News systems and small blogging systems that allow the owner to add news articles to their website.
- Contact forms and other web forms.
- Galleries.
- Newsletter systems.
- Classified advert websites (Buy and Sell etc).
- Social networks.
- Forums.
If you feel as if you need a PHP/MySQL programmer for a specific project that you don’t have the technical means to complete yourself, please don’t hesitate in contacting me . Likewise, if you already own a website and would like an additional feature like one of the systems mentioned above, please feel free to contact me and ask me any questions.
